Every Wednesday evening a kids' class is held at the Soquel Seva Ashram. The kid's class was started by Vidura Krishna prabhu several years ago when we were all "kids". Now we are no longer "kids" so to speak but the gathering has kept its name. This gathering really helps to keep our association focused on Krishna consciousness and enjoy the association of our friends in service while chanting, hearing, remembering, and trying to serve Srila Gurudev's mission in Soquel.

The format changes from time to time. Sometimes the focus is on discussions, skits, reading, and sometimes we have a guest speaker. In this case, Sripad Bhakti Premik Siddhanthi Maharaj who had just arrived from India gave us some updates of the Gurudev in Sri Nabadwip Dham and his then potential world tour. Now we are assured Srila Gurudev will take the initiative to travel of course, and we definitely enjoyed Maharaj's association.
